We lost not one, not two, but FIVE love-hungry ladies on this week’s episode of The Bachelor! Think you can keep up with this roller coaster? Hold on tight.

You may recall that last week’s episode left us hanging onto the edge of our couch cushions as we watched Colton bolt down the beach in a frustrated man-rage. The bickering of Onyeka and Nicole halted as the ladies held their breath to see if this was the end of the Bachelor’s journey to find love.

Like ABC would really let Colton end things midway through a season. Puh-lease.

The solution to this kitty-cat fight was to skip the rest of the cocktail party and go immediately into the Bachelor rose ceremony. In what was probably Colton’s first smart move, both troublemakers were sent packing without so much as a second thought. Even through her non-stop tears, Nicole was just glad Onyeka didn’t have the satisfaction of sticking around. Onyeka also had a ride on the petty train and repeated the same sentiments. Ladies, have you realized that neither of you will be missed?

After a quick hop over to Vietnam, Hannah G. received the first one-on-one date this week and the lovebirds headed to a spa where they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. Things were hot, heavy and gross as we once again watched a date with minimal words and too many lip-smacking sounds. They managed to stay apart long enough to change and get ready for dinner where Hannah received her reward for her now chapped lips in the form of a rose.

The group date had the ladies of The Bachelor learning traditional Vietnamese hand-to-hand combat where Demi got the chance to take out her growing frustrations on her cohorts. Or at least she attempted to do so, but instead got hit in the face in the process. Hannah Beast also made a return appearance to everyone’s delight and she was a great little fighter.

The cocktail party brought out more feelings as Sydney got more screen time than she’s had this entire season. Never a good sign. Realizing she had fallen drastically behind the rest of the crew, she voiced her concerns to Colton who reassured her that things were hunky-dory.

Spoiler alert: it didn’t work. Minutes later Sydney was back chatting with Colton and ended up sending herself home from The Bachelor. A wise move considering she was less than memorable and I had to look up her name to write this.

Kirpa, whose chin is now band-aid free, received the second one-on-one date and she showed more joy receiving that date card than she did on the actual date. You would think that diving into the ocean would have encouraged some excitement between these two, but nope, it was as boring to watch as I imagine it was to experience firsthand.

We learned that Kirpa was previously engaged and that she thinks she could once again be engaged at the end of this journey. Oh, you know, despite the lack of chemistry we see between these two on tv.

Somehow Kirpa receives the rose, thus reinforcing my opinion that Colton is a boring bachelor making boring choices.

Back at the resort, darling Demi has cracked after not receiving a one-on-one this week. Channeling her inner Elyse, she stomps her way over to Colton’s room to show him what he’s been missing out on. This didn’t work last time someone tried it on The Bachelor, Demi!

After revealing that she is seriously falling for him, Colton pauses at the thought of having a criminal as a mother-in-law and decides he can’t continue this love charade. Demi is sent with her tail between her legs back to her room to pack and head home. In a very non-traditional Bachelor move, we actually see her tearful goodbye to the two Hannahs before she exits the show. Where was this glimpse of drama when Elyse left, ABC producers?!

Once again it is The Bachelor rose ceremony cocktail party time and once again Colton skips these shenanigans and opts to start tossing out the florals right away. Katie is chosen to join the four ladies who have already made their exit this episode, and she warns Colton to be careful as he continues picking potential life-mates.

This prompts Colton to abandon the champagne toasts going on between the survivors of the rose ceremony, and he lets his remaining group know that game playing on this season of The Bachelor is over after triple warnings from the other fallen soldiers. Someone, or multiple someones, STILL aren’t here for the right reasons! Inconceivable. Colton is shooketh and confused and worried he will still be a sad, single virgin at the end of this saga, and he quickly exits into the night.
