Taylor Nolan moves on while ex Derek Peth opens up about mental health

Taylor Nolan has found a new man! Here are all the details, plus some insight into her ex-fiancé Derek Peth’s state of mind.

Less than a year after her breakup with Bachelor in Paradise fiancé Derek Peth, Taylor Nolan is dating again! The mental health counselor from Seattle recently told E News that she is in a long-distance relationship with a mysterious “Canada Man.”

Apparently the pair met at Camp Walden in Northern Ontario and clicked immediately. Fellow Bachelor alum Vanessa Grimaldi was there to witness the magical moment and attests that the two are a great match when it comes to their passions and lifestyles.

Taylor Nolan is sticking to the long-distance thing for now, but swears that it works. In her talk with E News, she actually praises the perks of surprise visits and unexpected romance.

Taylor’s announcement comes shortly after ex Derek Peth opened up about seeking counseling for the fallout of their breakup.

Derek was quick to confirm with Us Weekly that his seeking help wasn’t because Taylor Nolan is a bad person. Rather, he celebrated the fact that Millennials seem to be more open to talking about their mental health and that he has benefited greatly from opening up.

Honestly, it sounds like both halves of this former Bachelor in Paradise couple are approaching this next step in their lives in a really healthy way. It makes sense, especially when one considers how they handled their relationship on BiP. They were always very open about their feelings and what they wanted going forward.

We hope the best for both of them. While we wish we could have seen them working it out together, they both seem happy and we have high hopes for their futures. Who knows if Taylor and her mystery Canada Man will go the distance, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted on all future updates.
