Bachelor Nation continues to surprise us. Lovebirds Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have a new kids’ book that is hitting the market this March.

The Bachelor/Winter Games/Bachelor in Paradise alum Ashley Iaconetti has her hand in a lot of pots. Not only is she a frequent flier in the Bachelor program, but she also hosts her own successful podcast, contributes to Cosmopolitan magazine and works as a correspondent for Access Hollywood and Clevver TV. Now she can add another bullet point to her resume: she’s authoring a children’s book.

Yeah, Bachelor news doesn’t get much more bizarre than that. Ashley has co-written the book with fiancé Jared Haibon. It’s titled Lucy & Clark: A Story of Puppy Love and it is loosely based on their own love story. If you want to order it (and, trust me, I’m personally sorely tempted) you can do so here on Amazon.

Ashley Iaconetti always manages to surprise us but this announcement really took us off guard. The move seems like part of a bigger plan that she and Haibon have to promote their own brand as they step further away from their time on The Bachelor.

Who knows? While it may sound weird to envision a book based on a Bachelor love story, there’s certainly a lot of romance and fantasy to draw off of. Lucy & Clark could be more entertaining than it seems at first glance.

We won’t have much longer to wait to get our hands on the new book. It’s set to be released on March 26 of this year.

Will Lucy & Clark blow up in popularity? Probably not. The market for children’s books is already pretty heavily saturated, but surely that won’t stop some of the Bachelor Nation super fans from diving into Ashley Iaconetti’s new page-turner.
