Most first kisses don’t happen in front of millions of viewers. But Heather Martin can forever tell people that her first kiss was with The Bachelor!

Not many people can say their first kiss was on national TV. Heather is a 23-year-old contestant on The Bachelor who had never been kissed. Then after a somewhat quiet date, Heather experienced her first kiss with a man who has kissed many. Watch their kiss here.

Heather dated a guy for eight months and they never kissed. She said they both realized the chemistry wasn’t there, which is why neither of them made a move. But not many people can say they dated someone for eight months without a single peck on the lips being shared. Most first kisses are awkward and take place in locations like parking lots, front porches or at a party. Heather’s first kiss on The Bachelor was anything but normal and something she’ll remember for her entire life.

Her first kiss took place during a late-night beach stroll with fireworks lighting up the sky. Her first kiss blew most of ours out of the water! Still, I couldn’t help but yell at my TV, begging for them not to kiss.

I wanted Heather to experience a fantastic first kiss! But I felt so awkward remembering how many other girls Colton has kissed this season on The Bachelor and how many more kisses he will receive over the next several weeks. We are early in the season, and I can’t help but think that Heather’s chances of ending up with Colton are slim.

What are the odds that Heather marries her first kiss? I’ve been asking around and it doesn’t seem like most people marry the first person they kissed. Still, Heather and Colton both looked completely smitten with each other after that kiss. It did not seem like a normal first kiss, so I hope it was genuine. Most first kisses are very slobbery and uncoordinated, but their first kiss looked like they were professionals.

Heather wasn’t in my original top 4 on this season of The Bachelor, but I’m rooting for her now. It would be remarkable if Heather experienced all her firsts with Colton. We’ll see how next week goes and hopefully Heather doesn’t become jealous when she catches Colton kissing the other girls in the house.
