Minor spoiler alert: on episode 5 of The Bachelor, Nicole and Onyeka had it out. Here’s definitive proof that Onyeka based her argument on a lie.

Listen, it’s okay for you to be a fan of Onyeka. You can admire her aggressive strategy on The Bachelor or even just think it’s cool that she doesn’t care what others think of her. However, whether you’re #TeamOnyeka or not, there is an indisputable fact you must consider: Onyeka is 100% a liar.

No, this isn’t just our opinion. There is actual, video evidence of Onyeka saying one thing to Nicole and then saying another to Colton. Just check out this deleted scene from The Bachelor:

I’m sorry, was there a repeated phrase in that video that sounded a bit familiar?

Onyeka commented to Nicole, “It’s a question sometimes of whether you’re fully emotionally stable.” If you’ll recall, in last night’s episode of The Bachelor, Onyeka vehemently denied ever suggesting that Nicole was emotionally unstable. Sorry, girlfriend: the proof is in the pudding. There are cameras everywhere on The Bachelor and you should have remembered that when you called another girl’s emotional well-being into question.

So, we’ve established that Onyeka definitely commented on Nicole’s stability. Now we can stop the debate about whether or not she was telling the truth and instead simply dive into her intent with the comment.

Does Onyeka simply not like Nicole personally? Was she looking for a way to take her down and thought that she could get away with using Elyse as her eye witness now that her fellow contestant has left the show?

Or was there a fundamental misunderstanding here? Did Onyeka genuinely think she was helping Nicole and then only freak out when she got called out in her lie?

Unfortunately, we’re inclined to believe that Onyeka had villainous intentions here. After all, she had the opportunity to admit she was wrong when Tayshia corrected her version of events. Instead, she stuck to her guns and went down swinging.

Will the fight cost her or Nicole a rose? Colton, we vote to send Onyeka packing. The Bachelor deserves better.
