Are you a fan of both The Bachelor and Harry Potter? Then you’ll love what this HP star has to say about our favorite reality show!

Calling all Harry Potter fans! Turns out your two favorite franchises are about to collide. HP leading man Daniel Radcliffe came on Good Morning America to promote his new show, Miracle Workers, but ended up also talking about his greatest pop culture obsession: The Bachelor.

Daniel goes on to describe how he was once a little elitist when it came to America’s favorite franchise. He said there was a time that he used to only watch for his girlfriends but that now he is consciously “making the choice.”

He says he’s particularly obsessed with this season, in part because he thinks that Bachelor Colton Underwood is just a nice person. “They haven’t all been,” he jokes.

So there you have it, Bachelor Nation! Your fave guilty pleasure show has an official endorsement from the Boy Who Lived himself.

Obviously, we love when these fandom worlds collide. It’s validating! For all the haters who may have teased you for your taste in “crap TV,” you can point to the growing number of celebrities who also watch and love the show.

Along these lines, can we get a petition going for Daniel Radcliffe to make an appearance on The Bachelor? Obviously it’s too late for him to appear on his favorite leading man Colton’s season, but there’s still room to have him on in the future! The Bachelor is well known for inviting on celebrity guests. Terry Crews, Nick Offerman and more famous faces have already appeared on season 23. Why can’t we get a Harry Potter themed date for next season?

Someone write to Daniel Radcliffe! We need to witness the Bachelor/Harry Potter crossover event for the ages. It would definitely draw an audience.
