The best and worst in Bachelor fashion: Episode 4
Buh-bye Bachelor mansion! Now that we’ve left the confines of California, our contestants & their wardrobes had the chance to be judged on a global scale.
With a location change and temperatures rising, the ladies of The Bachelor got their first chance to take their style to the international streets. Let’s see if their looks could compare to the fantastic scenery of Singapore!
Drama queen or not, best dressed this week goes to good ol’ Roll Tide herself, Hannah B. With a group of twelve to stand out from on the group date, she chose a bright red dress with a cute cut-out tie top and fluttery sleeves. A great way to showcase the leech on her stomach!
At the cocktail party, she once again made a statement with her magenta, halter top jumpsuit paired with a perfect high pony which gave her the confidence to steal the Bachelor first and have a real heart-to-heart. Finally, Hannah glammed up the rose ceremony with a stunning fully beaded long navy gown that I wish I owned. Her looks sealed the deal on receiving another rose so fingers-crossed she keeps riding this classy fashion train.
I would be remiss if I didn’t give Caelynn a shout-out in the form of second place this week. Although she didn’t bring the wardrobe with her (technically her outfits were chosen by the puppet producer ABC gods), they were crazy gorgeous and I know every girl in America fawned over at least one expensive option. From the deep hunter green, crisscross strapped dinner date gown to the turquoise long-sleeved sparkly gown that had the Bachelor’s jaw dropping, Caelynn looked ahh-mazing in everything. You go, girl.
Our loser this week, both in terms of her romantic journey and her place in our fashion loving hearts, is “I Swear I’m a Wardrobe Stylist” Tracy. Her choice for the group date was something out of a 90’s throwback dream; a magenta satin skirt with large belt buckle paired with a white printed tube top and tennis shoes.
For the cocktail party Tracy stayed the course for bad clothes that should have stayed in the closet. Or, ya know, been burned up and not packed at all. She attempted to embrace the Asian culture by wearing a bright yellow floral kimono style dress and it was simply not a good look. Some slight redemption came at the Bachelor rose ceremony when Tracy wore a bright red one shoulder dress, but it was too little too late.
No rose and the most garbage fashion I have seen in many many seasons, Tracy, I didn’t even have a runner up for worst dressed this week because you were so consistently awful throughout your time that it felt like a disservice to everyone else. God speed to you and the poor souls who employ you!
