Rachel Lindsay has always been incredibly likable. After all, there’s a reason that The Bachelorette announced that she was the show’s leading lady before her time on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor was even over. She’s always had that It Factor and it’s been super easy to root for her success with fiancé Bryan Abasolo.

Consequently, we’ve all been dying to see her wear a wedding gown and their engagement has gone on for what feels like forever. Thankfully, it looks like the wait may finally be coming to an end! Rachel told PEOPLE a few exciting hints about the couple’s wedding plans.

When and where

Rachel has yet to confirm the location and time for her nuptials, but says that the wedding will be a destination event held sometime at the end of summer. It will happen somewhere near Colombia, as Bryan’s family is from the country.

We can totally get behind that choice! Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham just had a gorgeous destination wedding and now we’re hyped and ready for another one. Hopefully this could be part of a Bachelor special, too? We’d love to see Rachel looking pretty on some beach somewhere.

No bridesmaids

Rachel has opted for a bridesmaid-free wedding and, really, we can’t say we blame her. After competing on almost a full season of The Bachelor with so many other husband-crazed women, she really deserves a break. This wedding is all about her and Bryan, which perfectly keeps with her simple style.

Low-key

According to Rachel, she doesn’t have colors or flowers picked out for her wedding. She wanted a small ceremony and doesn’t feel the need to get pushy with her friends and family helping her with the event.

Instead, her main focus will be on the music. She says she specifically wants to tie in elements of both her and Bryan’s cultures and traditions.

This makes us respect her so much! Rachel has always been true to herself and it’s great to see that that hasn’t changed. Besides, we couldn’t imagine her being a bridezilla if we tried.
