The masses have taken to Twitter once more to react to The Bachelor episode 4. Here are some of the best tweets we saw last night.
Forget the most dramatic episode ever, last night’s episode of The Bachelor proved to be the most important. It was a night full of bombshells, covering everything from Tayshia’s divorce to Demi’s mother’s prison release to, most importantly, Caelynn’s brutally raw and honest account of her sexual assault.
The world gives The Bachelor a lot of crap for being junk TV, but last night proved there are still worthy stories for the series to tell. Don’t call it a comeback!
So how did Twitter react? Let’s start with the funny stuff.
Naturally, there was plenty of commentary on the Demi/Courtney feud.
Both Tracey and Courtney are gone. Kris Jenner works hard, but Demi works harder #TheBachelor pic.twitter.com/4XODoodK8f

Courtney: Trust me I tried to talk to him!

First season watchers: Demi is mean!!! How can Colton like her?!!
— Bach Tweets (@BachBatch) January 29, 2019
Bachelor Nation: Demi is a necessary part of the girls’ dynamic and statistically must stay until the final 6. Colton’s feelings for her are irrelevant. #TheBachelor
However, the jabs didn’t last through the whole night. Even Twitter knew to cool down when Caelynn took the stage to tell her story. The result? We got some of the most genuinely moving online moments I’ve personally ever witnessed. So maybe Twitter isn’t just a dumpster fire??
IF CAELYNN ISNT THE BACHELORETTE I WILL QUIT THIS FRANCHISE FOREVER AND NEVER LET MY CHILD BE ON THE FIRST EPISODE OF #THEBACHELOR AGAIN UNTIL NEXT SEASON

Ok, so Evan Bass was funny as usual. But the point is clear: Caelynn affected people.
It takes strength, vulnerability, and resilience to share something so intimate, yet empowering. Thank you Caelynn and #TheBachelor for providing a platform where ALL voices can to be heard. https://t.co/wizuFMQRFK 1-800-656-HOPE

So amazed by Caelynn's poise and strength as she tells this horrifying story. And Colton's response — "I want you to know, with me, you're safe" — made me respect him tremendously. #THEBACHELOR

I don’t even think I took a breath while Caelynn was telling her story. This is so much bigger than the show, this is about empowering other women and letting them know that they are not alone. Such a real, unfiltered moment. She’s amazing!!! #TheBachelor pic.twitter.com/WDIgJwL5lL

A few knowledgeable viewers pointed out this pertinent fact:
Reminder: @colton ‘s “past girlfriend” is Aly Raisman, an Olympic gymnast and icon whose bravery took down one of the worst predators of our time. #TheBachelor pic.twitter.com/SfxBFKvYzl

Most importantly, here’s the final word from the inspiration herself:
Thank you everyone for your love and support during this time. And to all of the fellow survivors out there, I want you to know your voice matters and you deserve to be heard

Until next week, Bachelor Nation. I know that the unity and kindness won’t last, but it felt pretty great this week.
