Catherine Agro drops some vital behind-the-scenes Bachelor knowledge
Recently eliminated contestant Catherine Agro dropped by Cosmopolitan to give some behind-the-scenes details. Here are her big bombshells!
Remember when contestant Catherine Agro had devil horns photo-shopped over her head during the trailer for The Bachelor season 23? It was clear from the very start that she was being set up for villainy, so when she spent all of night one repeating “Can I steal you for a quick second?” we were far from surprised.
It turned out to be very confusing, then, when Catherine took a back seat for the next two episodes. She wasn’t pushy or rude, she didn’t dominate the conversations. It was actually Demi, the 23-year-old blonde with more confidence than I could ever imagine, who ruffled feathers with her “I don’t care” attitude.
Catherine got cut at the end of episode 3, ending her surprisingly not-so-villainous run on the series. After leaving the mansion with more grace than several of the other women, she interviewed with Cosmopolitan to outline some truly surprising facts about her time on the show.
She was the victim
To hear Catherine tell it, she was the one being interrupted all of premiere night. She says that her times spent with Colton were very short and that proof of this can be found simply by re-watching her screen time from night one.
Is this true? A replay of the material definitely makes it seem like her time was short. However, it still takes a confident (or aggressive) personality to keep getting back in there and interrupting other girls so that you can have a few more precious seconds with the Bachelor.

Lucy was the real MVP
Catherine made waves when she “gave” her dog, Lucy, to Colton on night one. While the move seemed weird, Catherine’s explanation to Cosmo about how her dog was super important to her and that the show only gives limited visitation made me really feel for her. Heck, if I thought I could see my dog more by pulling a stunt like that, I would have done it, too!
She hadn’t seen the show before
This was a real jaw-dropper fact. And, weirdly, it explains a lot of Catherine’s odd night one behavior. She was just trying to figure out the ropes, so who can give her too much crap over interrupting so much?

You know what? Bring it on! I, for one, would love to see Catherine coming on to a Bachelor show without starting off as the villain. Let’s see what this lady has to really bring to the table.
Is she likely to make an appearance on the new season? Who can say. She was eliminated pretty early. Still, we’re hoping she’ll get a fair shake.
