Wells Adams has some OPINIONS on Colton’s season of The Bachelor
Apparently even Bachelor alums keep up with the show! Wells Adams has some strong opinions on Colton and his current season.
Remember Wells Adams? How could you not! He was the goofy and sweet contestant from JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette, later turned resident bartender for Bachelor in Paradise. These days, he doesn’t exactly keep a low profile; he’s dating Modern Family darling Sarah Hyland.
Wells has been watching Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and, in typical Wells fashion, he has some feelings. Here’s a breakdown of some of the comments he made during an interview with ET Online.
On being hated
Colton has claimed that he’s down with being the most hated Bachelor in the show’s history, but Wells ain’t buying it. He claims that his history as a football player makes Colton naturally competitive.
Can we buy that? Eh, maybe this is more Wells’ personal opinion than anything grounded in truth. Still, it’s worth watching closely this season to see if Colton is ever faking it. If he gets engaged and then later breaks it off, maybe that’s proof that he was only really here to win something.
On Tia Booth
Wells went on to claim that this competitive attitude was evidenced by the way that Colton felt he had to cover for himself during Bachelor in Paradise. When Tia pursued him, he knew he had to play the boyfriend in order to get the viewers on his side.
Can we trust Wells’ opinion here? Probably. Bartenders are notorious for getting insider dirt from those who drink and a bartender in Paradise has probably heard it all. Wells would have seen things as they really were.
On Villains
Wells is a major fan of all the big personalities on Colton’s season. We are, too! He’s not wrong in asserting that this year The Bachelor seems to have more power players than usual. It’s Catherine vs. Onyeka, Demi vs. Tracy, Hannah B. vs. Caelynn. Picking out who will go on the two-on-one feels like a total crap shoot!
What do you think of Wells’ opinions? Is he right on the money or dead wrong? Let us know what you think in the comments!
