Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham officially married on Jan. 12. Arie is now posting some wedding pics on his Twitter!
It’s almost hard to believe that it was only five short days ago that Bachelor couple Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk, Jr. were tying the knot!
After a whirlwind (less than a year!) engagement, these two found their way to Hawaii where they made this mom-to-be an official Luyendyk. If you haven’t been keeping up on the details, you should definitely start. Their wedding was insane– a Bachelor fan’s true dream. Chris Harrison even officiated!
Lucky for us, the couple hasn’t waited too long to finally gift us some pics of their special day. Arie posted to Twitter about the landmark event just this morning and the photos are seriously unreal:
Lauren looks like a modern princess in her dress! For real, how does someone’s hair look that good? And for all the grief Arie got about picking Becca Kufrin first on his season of The Bachelor, he looks insanely happy with his choice as he stands waiting for his bride at the altar. When she joins him, their laughter looks so genuine. And can we talk about that tender almost-kiss? I’m dying, people!
A source close to the wedding recently told People that the wedding was partly inspired by the Twilight movie wedding. Apparently Lauren specifically sent pictures of Bella and Edward’s gorgeous on screen marriage to the folks helping to get the wedding planned, hoping to copy the arches and flowers.
While Twilight may have been a cheese-fest, that wedding was seriously breath-taking. We can totally understand why Lauren would pine after the event details and, judging by Arie’s pictures on Twitter, she really managed to pull off the look.
This little preview of the happy couple’s nuptials are making us crazier than ever to finally meet their baby girl. Mark your calendars for June! Baby Luyendyk still has a few months to wait to come in to the world but, if we know her parents like we think we do, the event should be just as beautiful as the Luyendyk wedding.
