The best and worst in Bachelor fashion: Season premiere
It was a sea of sparkle as the journey to win Colton Underwood’s heart began on Monday night’s premiere episode of The Bachelor.
Another season of The Bachelor has been bestowed upon us meaning our Monday nights may resume their rightful place as wine-drenched, judgement-filled escapes from the beginning of the work week. Along with the discernment of everything Colton and his gaggle of ladies says and does, we also get the chance to become judge and jury for their fashion choices. And with a crew of 30 women to examine on night one, the possibilities are lush.
Our worst dressed of the evening was sweet, blonde, innocent Cassie with her box of butterflies.
Homegirl opted to wear a ruffled floral number with dainty spaghetti straps and plenty of cleavage. I’m all for displaying the girls, but this dress was one better suited for Easter Sunday and not the glamour of being shoved in a limo with 5 strangers who are also trying to impress the man of their dreams with their sexy since of style. Take it back to church, Cassie.
Runner up in the Worst Dressed category was “My Mom’s in Prison” Demi.
Her pale yellow, midriff showing two-piece was a too casual flowy nightmare that should have stayed on the farm.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, best dressed for this week goes to Erika.
Although one of many who raided the craft store for sequins, Erika’s nude halter top bedazzled dress looked perfect, especially paired with her side swept fishtail braid. The perfect combo of glamorous and sexy, her playful hair added just the right amount of “Look, I’m not just a pretty face; I’m fun, too!”
Second place goes to Erin AKA Cinderella (her literal job description, ya’ll).
Complete with horse and carriage, this little princess graced the evening with a beautiful light blue lace gown for what was a majestic entrance at the mansion. Despite leaving behind a glass slipper, this fairy-tale came to a short conclusion when Colton did not bestow true love’s rose into Erin’s dainty hand. But hey, she looked amazing for the few minutes she appeared on national television. And isn’t that what really matters?
How will the fashion shape up next week? Will be back to keep you posted!
