Comedian Megan Mullally recently announced that she and husband Nick Offerman will appear on The Bachelor. Here are all the details!

In case you missed it, The Bachelor’s season 23 premiere will have some very special guests spicing things up. Comedian Megan Mullally announced on Instagram this past Sunday that she and her husband, fellow comedian Nick Offerman, will be appearing during the special 3 hour episode.

You may recognize Mullally from her current role on the hit revival series Will & Grace. Offerman is best known for his iconic turn as the surly Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation. They’re a really hot celebrity couple right now, well known for bringing their trademark shared sense of humor to the places and events they love (just check out a few of their Sling commercials!).

Bachelor Nation should be super excited to see them making an appearance on the show. Mullally and Offerman are long-time fans of the series, even appearing once on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about their obsession. With a passion like that, the celebrity couple is sure to bring a breath of fresh air to what could have otherwise been quite the premiere night slog. Three hours is a long time to wade through opening night drama. It will be nice to hear some jokes breaking up some of the more awkward moments.

So what can we expect out of Mullally and Offerman’s appearance? It’s been confirmed that they’ll be chatting with Colton and some of the girls. Mullally also quipped in her post that she “secretly [told] the villainess not to be a villainess, it’s not worth it.” Since the season promo did a good job of obviously setting up contestant Catherine to be our new major antagonist, it seems safe to guess that she might be the “villainess” with whom Mullally will be chatting. That will be fun to watch.

Whatever goes down, we won’t want to miss it! Mark your calendars now so that you aren’t the last person to catch Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman on the Jan. 7 premiere.
