How the wildfires affected the Bachelor Mansion
By Haley Cook
The Bachelor Mansion is iconic for Bachelor fans everywhere. No matter how iconic though, its still subject to mother nature, and faced the wrath of the Woolsey wildfire.
The Bachelor Mansion faced the wrath of the recent California Wildfire, but luckily the structure is okay. The parts that were ruined include a lower part where much of the production occurs, and the outside patio areas and structure. While that’s still sad, at least the whole mansion isn’t gone.
Luckily, Colton Underwood and his contestants were not in the mansion because they are out traveling while they film, they are no longer in the house. His season of filming seems to be dragging on forever as it seems like it was so long ago that we met his final four contestants. Apparently, The Bachelor takes longer to film then I was aware of.
The story gets more interesting though, as ET reports a 16 year old actually helped save the mansion.
She reportedly lives right next door (talk about house location goals) and wanted to do something to help. When she saw the fire, she and her dad went out and got the attention of a fire engine and they were able to put the fire out.
Several celebs were forced to evacuate their home in including the Kardashians, and some had their homes even burn down like Miley Cyrus. So in the end, the Bachelor Mansion is so lucky to still be standing even if it did get some drama.
We know the fire must be so hard for all those involved and our thoughts are with everyone who is suffering.
Stay tuned for more Bachelor news, especially with Colton’s season airing in January, it should be a good one!
