Was Colton Underwood chosen because he’s a virgin?

Colton Underwood, current Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni, revealed to us on television that he is in fact a virgin. This little fact isn’t that important but could it be why he was chosen as the Bachelor this year?

There’s nothing the Bachelor franchise seems to love more then some good ole drama to boost those ratings. Is the fact that Colton Underwood is a virgin the drama of the season? Of course we all want to know what will happen in those fantasy sweets and in turn, keep coming back for episode after episode.

Bachelor alum, Becca Tilley believes just that. Becca told Entertainment Tonight: “One thousand percent!” she she said, “He has a storyline, like, built into it. That’s all they’re going to talk about!” She’s not wrong, this is a great story line already built in.

Becca Tilley also has some experience in this department since her virginity was also a huge topic of discussion when she was on the show, so we should probably listen to her.

Of course if you’re Colton Underwood you’re probably going to hope you were picked off your humor and good looks. Let’s be real, he is not lacking in the looks department, but he has already had so much drama. Between Becca and Tia and being a virgin, he really is a perfect mix of what they need the Bachelor to have. Like yeah, a lot of us don’t like Colton a ton, but that doesn’t mean we won’t watch.
