Rachel says no to Bachelorette spinoff, but Bryan says it could happen — is he fame hungry?

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay isn’t interested in a “Happily Ever After” TV spinoff, but her fiancé, Bryan Abasolo isn’t opposed to the idea.

Hoping to see more of Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo on TV? If the Bachelorette star has her way, that won’t happen. However, her fiancé is open to the idea of following in Bachelor Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s footsteps with their own reality TV series on Freeform.

During their post-Bachelorette media tour, Rachel stressed how much she has in common with Bryan. From movies to sports, it sounds like they have plenty to talk about. But as far as going back on TV, that’s something they don’t agree upon. Is Bryan more interested in continuing his time in the spotlight than Rachel? Here’s what we know…

Rachel tells People that she doesn’t want cameras in their lives so soon after filming wrapped for the Bachelorette. Instead, she wants to get to know Bryan without a production crew around. The only concession she would make it the possibility of having their wedding air on ABC.

But as far as starring in a spinoff, Rachel says, “I don’t want to.”

Although Bryan agreed to the part about getting to know each other off camera, People reports he gave Rachel a “playful nudge” when asked about a spinoff and stated that “it could happen, maybe down the line.”

Bryan is not a newcomer to reality TV

Perhaps Bryan has a reality TV bug in his ear. After all, when he was in his 20s he was one of the contestants on the little-known reality show, The Player.

Just the name of the show makes us question Bryan’s intentions.

Is Bryan hoping to cash in on their relationship by extending his time in front of cameras?

He can always make money promoting Fab Fit Fun boxes or teeth whitener.

Heck, Rachel’s already starting with the Instagram sales pitches. Just two days after she handed out her final rose, she shared a picture of her dog, Copper with a promo for Target’s dog toys.
