Bachelorette fans will never forget watching Nick Viall get rejected two seasons in a row, but what about the runner-ups we barely remember?

Not every runner up is as lucky as Nick Viall. He got dumped by both Bachelorette stars, Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe. ABC then gave him another shot at finding love on Bachelor in Paradise and as the Season 21 Bachelor. Although that didn’t work out for him (he’s dating again, btw), his time on TV is memorable, for better or for worse.

Unlike Nick, there are a few guys from past seasons of The Bachelorette who didn’t get four chances to find love on TV. They all but disappeared from the Bachelor family, or so it seems. Without going too far back, let’s take a look at three runner-ups that you may have forgotten about.

Kiptyn was the handsome guy who got dumped by Jillian Harris on

The Bachelorette

Season 5. Apparently, she had a better connection with Ed Swiderski. But their love story didn’t last long. Fortunately, they have all found love off-camera.

Kiptyn dated Tenley Molzahn (Jake Pavelka’s season) after they met on Bachelor Pad Season 1. They split in 2015. Soon after, Kiptyn announced that he and his new girlfriend, Samm Murphy, were expecting their first child. The couple welcomed a beautiful little boy, Koltyn, into the world in July 25.

Ed married news reporter Natalie Bomke in July 2015. Jillian Harris and her fiancé, Justin Pasutto, are parents to Leo, born in August 2016.
