‘Bachelorette’ 2017 contestants Blake and Lucas bring real-life feud to Rachel’s season

Bachelorette contestants Blake Elarbee and Lucas Yancey may be looking for trouble instead of love on Rachel Lindsay’s season.

The Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay is going to have her hands full this season. Two of her 30 guys have an on-going feud that started on another reality show. Apparently, it continued when they arrived at the Bachelor mansion.

So, what’s the beef between Blake Elarbee and Lucas Yancey? It’s all about a girl, of course! And there’s more…

Blake and Lucas  both appeared on the WeTV reality series, Ex-Isle, before joining the Bachelorette 2017 cast. That’s really not a big deal. After all, two reality “stars” were on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. Contestant Chris Strandburg appeared the Oxygen Network’s Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency and Josh Seiter was a contestant on the E! reality show Escape Club in 2014.

What is a big deal is the fact that Blake and Lucas knew each other before they came on the show. Apparently, Lucas has an ex-girlfriend named Brittany who was also part of the Ex-Isle cast. Along came Blake. He hit it off with Brittany. Of course he did.

Now that they’re done on Ex-Isle, both guys are on Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s season looking for love. Supposedly.

That means Brittany didn’t make a love connection with Blake on Ex-Isle. Of course, producers will make sure to make Lucas and Blake butt heads when they arrive at the Bachelor mansion.

Chill the wine … we may see a showdown on the Bachelorette season premiere.

In Touch Weekly reports that Lucas and Blake “do not get along in real life” — a rumor we can’t confirm. However, the gossip mag states that producers cast the duo for Rachel’s season because “it’ll make for good TV.” From the sounds of it, that just might be true.

FYI: Lucas Yancey has a criminal record

Lucas will make a name for himself on the upcoming The Bachelorette. In addition to some dirt coming out about his past criminal record, there are rumors that he will be the Season 13 villain. Sounds like Blake won’t be the only guy Lucas ticks off.

Lucas is one of at least five contestants on Rachel’s season who have had run-ins with the law. He spent 20 days in jail back in 2007 for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, bodily injury resulting. In addition to his brief time in jail, a judge sentenced Lucas to three years of probation, community service and a first offenders program.

Shocker! Blake Elarbee has a DUI on his record, too!

According to Radar, Blake was charged with driving under the influence in 2010. He didn’t go to jail but he served six months of probation, paid a bunch of fines, and was ordered, to do 50 hours of community service.

Are Blake and Lucas looking for love on Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette? Let’s go with “no” on that one. But we can’t wait to see the man drama in the mansion.
