25. Kalon McMahon

Insulting Emily Maynard is a high crime in itself, but insulting that cute little blond daughter of hers is completely unforgivable. Emily Maynard was the genteel, Southern Belle that all the men clamoring to throw their coat over a mud puddle and catch her when she swooned.

Kalon, on the other hand, wasn’t all that interested in impressing her, or so it seems. In a conversation about their lives outside the mansion, he referred to Emily’s daughter, Ricki, “baggage.” All the single moms out there know this is about the quickest way for a man to lose his attractiveness. You can say all you want about the woman, but the minute you speak negatively about the kids, it’s game over.

Kalon’s disrespect might not have been so glaring, if it weren’t for all the other guys laying it on thicker than was probably necessary. They over-corrected in a super embarrassing way, using phrases like, “it would be an honor” or “I’m the lucky,” making Kalon’s callous comments look even worse.

Not only did the other contestants seize the opportunity to use Kalon’s misstep to make themselves feel better, but they totally tattled on him. Even though the “baggage” comment wasn’t caught on tape, the other men didn’t take too long to run tell Emily exactly what he said. Needless to say, he was sent home that same night.
