The Bachelor Nick Viall dishes on what he’ll be doing after Dancing with the Stars and planning a wedding is not on his to-do list.

Nick Viall may not win the Dancing with the Stars Mirrorball trophy but he’s hoping his men’s grooming business, The Polished Gent, is a big hit. Although many fans want to see Nick and Vanessa get married, a wedding is the furthest thing from the reality TV star’s mind.

Five months ago, the Bachelor star proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. Now they are living together in Los Angeles but Nick tells Buzz Feed (video below) that his new business is his “top priority.” Planning a wedding? Not so much.

Will Nick eventually marry Vanessa?

Nick wants to take it slow with Vanessa and that’s understandable. After all, they only went on a few dates before they got engaged. And dates on The Bachelor are quite different than dating in real life. Heck, they don’t even eat the food. That’s almost criminal.

However, Nick hedged a bit when it came to talking about his long-term plans with Vanessa. During the Q&A with Buzz Feed (below), Nick was asked what he and Vanessa will be doing five years from now. His response? He doesn’t even know what he’s doing next week! Yup. He admitted that he’s “not a planner” so prepping for a wedding is not on his radar.

“I’m not a big planner, so I don’t even know what I’m doing next week!,” Nick states. “So five years — who the heck knows.”

“Who the heck knows?” Nick, that pretty much says it all.

Nick may not know what he’ll be doing in five years, but for now, he’s on a mission to make his business a success.

The Bachelor star says he’s “obviously” going to focus on his relationship with Vanessa after Dancing with the Stars is over. However, his business, The Polished Gent, is his number-one priority.

We can’t help but think Vanessa must feel a bit slighted hearing this. That’s why we mentioned this his  “number-one” priority is his business more than once.

We get it, Nick. You don’t want to rush things. Or you have cold feet.

Is all of this “no wedding planning” and “I don’t know what I’ll be doing in five years” a hint that he doesn’t think things will work out long term?

Reality Steve said months ago that Nick wasn’t interested in marrying anyone when he took the Bachelor gig. Perhaps Steve’s prediction is as spot on as his spoilers.
