Last Monday was the premiere of Dancing with the Stars, and Bachelor star Nick Viall and his partner Peta Murgatroyd found themselves in the middle of the pack with a score of 24/40.
Considering Nick’s lack of dance experience, he did okay next to some of the other pairs who’ve had more experience performing. Of course, this whole dancing thing is something totally different from anything that Nick has ever done before, so he did the best that he could.
Nick And Peta Take On The Foxtrot
This week, #TeamBabyGotBach will be dancing the foxtrot, which is much different than last week’s cha cha.
If Nick is able to check his goofy personality at rehearsals and get serious for this dance, he could find himself approaching that 30/40 mark. He and Peta have some improvements to make, as the pair only received 6’s last week, so they could score a couple of 7’s if they were able to work out the kinks.
Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd: The Dynamic Duo
Off the dance floor, Nick and Peta seem to have a great connection. They are always joking around and having fun. But this week the two will have to drop the playfulness and get down to serious business if they want to make it past week 3 (assuming Nick doesn’t get voted off tonight).
Lucky for Nick, he has a very supportive partner. His fiance, Vanessa Grimaldi, has been cheering him on every step of the way!
Meanwhile, Peta is back after taking a year off from dancing (she welcomed her first child, Shai, with soon-to-be husband Maks Chmerkovskiy) and is ready to compete – and to win.
Unfortunately, Nick doesn’t have as many chances for mistakes on Dancing With The Stars as he did with The Bachelor, so he’s got his work cut out for him if he wants to earn people’s votes and be a serious contender for that Mirror Ball Trophy!
You can catch Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd on tonight’s episode of Dancing with the Stars on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
