During the finale of ‘The Bachelor,’ host Chris Harrison teased about a big surprise – turns out the surprise was for the new Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay.

After the winner of The Bachelor  was revealed, the attention turned to the new Bachelorette. Rachel Lindsay is breaking a lot of the norms when it comes to this season ofThe Bachelorette.  Being the first black Bachelorette is the first, but the second is the surprise Chris Harrison had for Lindsay.

During the live finale of The Bachelor, Lindsay was interviewed about her thoughts about being the leading lady, but then the real surprise. During the finale, Harrison revealed the surprise was Lindsay’s Bachelorette journey was going to begin there, during the live show.

A backdrop of the Bachelor mansion was brought in, along with foliage to make it seem more realistic. After a commercial break for dramatic effect, Lindsay got to meet the first four men who would be a part of her Bachelorette experience.

Lindsay was very surprised, and didn’t seem ready for the introductions. Once the men started to come out, she seemed very excited with the prospect of meeting her future husband.

The four men that were introduced seemed to be quite nervous (understandably), but were very nice. It’s easy to judge the first four based on what happened on live TV, but that’s kind of unfair. None of these guys expected they would have to introduce themselves to the smart and gorgeous Bachelorette on LIVE television.

After that teaser, it seems that May 22nd cannot come fast enough. Lindsay seems so genuinely excited for her time as the Bachelorette, and it seems that this teaser has only made her more excited (and us too)!
