46. They Do Their Own Hair And Makeup, And Bring Their Own Clothes

It doesn’t seem like these girls would have to brave a full face of makeup, a complete blowout, and designer clothes every day all on their on, but it seems like they have to. The aspiring male daters have it much easier, and can just mix and match the same three suits for the entire show.

The ladies, on the other hand, have it much harder. They have to pack enough clothes to last them from anywhere to a week to two months, and be prepared for all sorts of scenarios. The least the show could do would be to provide them with a closet full of clothes they’ve exhausted everything in their own suitcase.

But no such luck. The girls can only rely on what they brought to carry them through. Jillian Harris remembers her time on season 5 of The Bachelorette. She writes in her blog, “The girls do have to bring all of their own clothing and of course, they want to be wearing the best clothes EVER to be seen on TV,”

As far as the nightmare of 20+ women doing their own hair and makeup at the same time, well, they’re on their own. It helps that you’re surrounded by all the products and tools you can imagine, and everybody is probably willing to share their tips and tricks. But wouldn’t it go so much smoother if the show would spring for a team of beauty professionals?
