After all these secrets revealed, it’s pretty safe to say that making The Bachelor is not as glamorous as they make it seem on TV. Bunk beds, cooking their own meals, kissing in front of an audience all make it seem a lot less fun than it does when we’re watching at home.

While it may look like all fun, drinking, and dating, there is so much more to it. Leslie Hughes reminds us, “We have to do our own cooking, our own laundry… We do everything you would do when you’re at home, except be able to go outside of your home. It’s a lot of suitcases.”

It might not all be glitz and glamor, but it is certainly a staple in our American culture. so many other shows have been modeled after the Bachelor, it’s place is indisputable in our American television history.
