Since it was announced that Rachel Lindsay was going to be the next ‘Bachelorette,’ we all assumed she would be eliminated from the show shortly after the announcement. But boy were we wrong.

There have been two eliminations since it was announced that Rachel Lindsay was going to be the next Bachelorette, and she is still around.

For ABC to announce Lindsay as the next Bachelorette while she’s still on The Bachelor, is made a whole lot worse when she ends up cracking the top-three.

There are only three girls remaining, and Lindsay is one of them. So, this really means that the other two girls have a 50/50 shot at being Mrs. Viall. Although the women didn’t know this during filming, but we know now who the final two will be (hopefully).

Side note: if Lindsay makes the top two I think I may end up boycotting the show all together after that.

Since the announcement, every week I have been hoping that Lindsay gets eliminated. I don’t want her gone because I don’t like her, I happen to think she’s amazing, but because I know she doesn’t win. It seems pointless to keep her around when we know she’s not going to win anyway.

Now knowing that Lindsay doesn’t win, I would have preferred to see Corinne stick around, and get some more entertainment out of her.

It makes sense that ABC wanted to announce this to get some press circulating around their decision to choose Lindsay as the Bachelorette, but why did they have to ruin the show.
