Bachelor in Paradise’s Grant Kemp got the “Grace” tattoo on his wrist covered up.

Grant Kemp and Lace Morris were one of the more intriguing and surprising couples of Bachelor In Paradise. Lace originally was drawn to bad boy and Bachelorette super villain Chad Johnson, but after he imbibed too much and became aggressive she distanced herself.

Waiting was Grant, and their love blossomed on the show despite it’s fair share of dust ups. Despite it all, the two stood side by side throughout the show and got engaged at the end of the show.

The way their relationship unfolded made it seem like it might not last, and ultimately the couple split. Grant finally removed the last lingering reminder of Lace this week when he got the “Grace” tattoo on his wrist covered up, posting a picture to Instagram.

The word “Grace” was an amalgamation of their name, as couples – particularly the celebrity variety – are prone to do. Grant wrote in the caption that it wasn’t about throwing shade or sending some kind of signal publicly to Lace, just an effort to move on.

Lace has the same tattoo on her wrist, and she is keeping it according to TMZ. Her reasoning for keeping it is the symbolism and meaning beyond the couple. The amalgamation of their name being a word that has special meaning to so many certainly helps.

Now, with news of Grant’s decision to get the tattoo covered up, it will be interesting to see if Lace decides to move on from the ink as well.
