The Bachelor: Taylor is the hero we all need

Taylor is the hero The Bachelor fans need to keep the bully Corrine in check during Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor.

So far Corrine is the bully of the 21st season of The Bachelor, greedily taking up as much of Nick’s time as possible. On Monday night’s episode she not only interrupted once to steal more time, but twice, the last of which came when Taylor was talking to Nick.

Unlike the other women, re-signed to let Corrine force others aside, Taylor decided to fight fire with fire and re-interrupted Corrine.

This set Corrine into a bit of hysteria.

“I’m really pissed,” Corrine said. “She re-interrupted me. Which I think is very rude.”

The irony is tremendous. To be fair, Corrine’s arguments at this part of the show feel a bit alcohol fueled, surely she can’t be that blind to the hypocrisy, she does run a multi-million dollar business after all.

“I interrupted Taylor and then she came and re-interrupted me,” Corrine continued to the producers. “There is a way to go about things, the way I go about things is very classy and not directed toward a character in general.

“The way she did it was very directed towards Corrine.”

You’re damn right it was. You got alone time with Nick first, then interrupted two other girls looking for their moment to get to know Nick a little better, and more importantly let Nick get to know them.

Then Corrine decided to confront Taylor about the “re-interruption.”

Taylor said she was happy with her time, and Corrine adds “and then you re-came and got your time back.” Taylor claps back with: “I wanted more, cause I was really happy with it.”

LEMONADE WALK!

Corrine then decides to ease the tension with the “as long as there is no situation about the situation.” Taylor, like the boss that she is, let’s Corrine know she is fine and Corrine just digs herself a little bit deeper by asking if Taylor is fine, not realizing she has lost the power and control in this conversation.

Taylor handled herself with class throughout this whole ordeal, not taking Corrine’s bait and trying to get into an argument, instead electing to let Corrine shed a negative light on herself.

It didn’t stop there though, Corrine decided to give an ill-advised impromptu and ridiculous speech about how things were going to continue to get uncomfortable.

Remember Corrine, Ben left Olivia stranded on a beach in the Bahamas. Meanwhile, Taylor is the woman fighting the good fight against the bully Corrine for the rest of the contestants, and doing so in the best and most elegant way.

She just needs to take the lesson of contestants in seasons past and not drop to Corrine’s level for the battle. Ultimately that was the undoing of Alex on JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette as he stood up to the evil Chad. Also, Leah made things about about Lauren B to Ben on The Bachelor and it didn’t end well for her.
