Former Bachelor contestant Jade Roper went hard in the paint while describing Nick Viall as a hypocrite for his treatment of Liz.

This week’s episode of The Bachelor featured the confrontation we all thought would come later in the season. Liz confronted Nick about that time they hooked up and Nick forgot about, and it was everything we wanted it to be.

Specifically, Nick was made out as a bit of a villain to some — not that he wasn’t already. But his comments about Liz only bringing up their past relationship so that she could get on television stunk of hypocrisy of the highest order.

This is something former Bachelor contestant Jade Roper pointed out while ethering Nick for his double-sided reaction to Liz. Jade  came off the top rope and said that Nick was hypocritical for saying Liz only wanted to be on the show so she could be on television.

"“And then he’s turning around and telling [Liz] she’s only there because she wants to be on TV,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum continues. “I was like, ‘That seems kind of strange that you would say that, because out of anyone, you should understand the situation.'”"

She’s not wrong, and this now begs the question of whether or not Nick is an anti-hero Bachelor. He’s redeemed his reputation to a certain extent, having come through on Bachelor in Paradise and other shows.

But then he pulls this, which is about as transparent as it gets. He’s not all-hero and he’s not going to fully turn heel again. Rather, Jade’s reaction seems to highlight the idea that Nick is a broken bachelor who is going to need to own his hypocrisy.

Of course, Liz is out of house so bygones will more than likely be bygones in a few weeks time.
